The major highlight of the Kuari Pass Trek is the chance to see the mighty Nanda Devi, Uttarakhand’s highest peak, accompanied by famous peaks like Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, and Hathi Parbat. Seeing Nanda Devi up close is an experience that stays with trekkers long after the trek is over.
It takes 6 days to complete the trek. The trek reaches a maximum altitude of 12,750 ft and covers 27 km.
The trek falls under the jurisdiction of the Forest Department, and a forest permit is necessary for the trek.

Itinerary
Drive from Rishikesh to Dhak / Karchi, the roadhead used for the trek. The route is a full-day transfer to the base area.

Trek from Karchi to Akhrotghetta. This is the first trekking day with gradual altitude gain to the campsite.

Trek from Akhrotghetta to Khullara and camp at Khullara campsite.
- Khullara Campsite
Trek from Khullara to Tali via Kuari Pass. The day includes the pass crossing, ridge walking on the descent, and a walk through Tali forest before reaching camp.
