The trek includes a stay at Base Camp Natin in guest houses on a triple or quad sharing basis, with separate arrangements for males and females. During camping, twin-sharing all-season tents, sleeping bags, and mattresses are provided as central equipment.

The reporting point is Prince Chowk, Dehradun, near the railway station, with pick-up at 6:00 AM.

This trek is recommended for first-time trekkers as well as experienced trekkers. The minimum age mentioned is 10 years, while the maximum depends on the trekker’s fitness.

Indian vegetarian food with occasional eggs is served on the trek. Example meals mentioned include dal, sabji, roti, rice, daliya, poha, sandwiches, and morning and evening tea.

Trekkers must carry two 1-litre water bottles for refilling at the campsite.

Recommended trekking shoes should have good grip, ankle support, and water-resistant layers. A trekking pole is described as necessary for support, balance, and reducing tiredness.
